In the most recent edition of the Journal of Modern Project Management, a guest editorial introduction to the importance of new project control methodologies is given, with a special attention to the new earned duration management technique.
On June 5th, 2015, four members of the Operations Research and Scheduling group were invited at INESCTEC Porto. A workshop organized by colleague and friend José Coelho, who currently collaborates on a four-months research project in Lisbon (Portugal) with Mario Vanhoucke on Branch-and-Bound searches for scheduling.
Almost 8 years ago, in 2007, PMI Belgium gave an award, known as the PMI Research Collaboration Fund (RCF), to Mario Vanhoucke for the research on Earned Value Management and project control.
