The list of Master Theses for the period 2014 - 2016 is now available at the OR&S website (in Dutch) and contains no less than 35 students with an interest in Integrated Project Management and Control. Below, a list of titles and assigned students (in Dutch) is given. Quite likely, one of these will be the winner of the PMI Master Thesis Award in 2016!
Project scheduling was my first love... and it will be my last!
My work and passion for research on resource-constrained project scheduling dates back from the early 90s when I was following a Project Scheduling course given by Willy Herroelen. From 1996 on, I joined his team as a researcher and met young colleagues, also PhD students, such as Christoph Schwindt and Jürgen Zimmermann at various conferences. We were all passionate about project scheduling, and working hard on our PhD.

The research on statistical project control is lifting off with a new publication on the use of Support Vector Machine Regression techniques for improving the accuracy of project forecasting. The paper entitled "Support Vector Machine regression for project control forecasting" written by Mathieu Wauters and Mario Vanhoucke has been published in Automation in Construction.
ORASTalks is the app about Project Management and Decision Making for and by students and professionals, and is used during my teaching sessions at universities, business schools and company trainings across the world. Initially, ORASTalks was only available for iOS and Android at its introduction date in 2013, but recently we have put it also available for Windows Phone users.
